
Aloo Tikki Recipe
Ingredients:
– 500g Aloo (potatoes), boiled and mashed
– 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
– 1/4 cup Green peas, boiled and mashed
– 1/2 tsp Jeera (cumin seeds)
– 1-2 Green chilies, finely chopped
– 1 tsp Ginger, grated
– 1/2 tsp Garam masala
– 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
– Salt, to taste
– Oil, for shallow frying
– Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
1. Aloo Prepare Karo: Pehle, Aloo ko achhi tarah se boil karo aur phir mash karo. Isme boiled green peas bhi mix kar sakte ho.
2. Masala Banao: Ek mixing bowl mein, mash kiye hue Aloo aur peas daalo. Ab isme bread crumbs, jeera, green chilies, ginger, garam masala, red chili powder, aur salt daalo. Achhe se sabko mix karo. Agar mixture thoda wet lag raha hai, toh aur bread crumbs daal sakte ho.
3. Tikki Form Karo: Ab mixture se choti choti tikkis bana lo. Aap apne hathon se round ya phir flat shape de sakte ho.
4. Fry Karo: Ek pan mein oil garam karo. Jab oil garam ho jaye, tab carefully Aloo Tikkis ko pan mein daal do. Doonon taraf se golden brown hone tak fry karo.
5. Serve Karo: Aloo Tikki ko garma-garam serve karo ketchup ya mint chutney ke saath. Aap isse chaat ke roop mein bhi serve kar sakte ho, thoda dahi, sev aur imli ki chutney daal kar.
Tips:
– Aloo Tikki ko crispy banane ke liye, oil ko achhe se garam karna zaroori hai.
– Aap is mixture mein shadi (onion) ya spices bhi add kar sakte ho according to your taste.
